I got a surface piercing this past saturday and I've been cleaning correctly and being uber careful with it but it's kind of bruised looking. Is that normal? I mean, it doesn't necessarily mean it's rejecting right? My navel did the same thing and it's been fine for two years...guess I'm just paranoid about this one

Bruising is normal. I had light bruising on my chest surface piercings [light bruising, yellow-green in colour] and they still healed fine.
