I have NEVER understood why priests aren't allowed to marry. It makes absolutely no sense.

I'd say to do in depth research as to the reasoning behind molestations before jumping to the conclusion that removing celibacy requirements would change anything. Certainly, molestation by Roman Catholic priests seems to be a big problem, but that's more thanks to the media than anything. I'd be willing to bet money that you'd find the percentages of Catholic priests who were also child molestors would be comparable to the number of school teachers who were child molestors or the number of daycare workers who were child molestors.

Priests have to be celibate because a long time ago the priests would give the land of the church to their family. So they made it a rule that priests must be celibate.

how does a lack of sex make a person want to rape kids

seriously what kind of logic is that

Sexual desire is a physical desire which can be overcome but isn't easy to overcome. So it's about meeting their sexual desires some way.

how does raping kids supersede masturbation

Is no one going to point out that only one fifth of one percent of Catholic priests have actually been convicted of sex offenses.  The Catholic sex abuse scandal isn't a big deal because the prevalence is dramatically higher in the priesthood.  It is a scandal because the church is the "safeguard for morality" and it, at one time, actively sheltered priests from prosecution.

Celibacy isn't the issue.  The RCC's treatment of sex abuse allegations is.

In the United States or worldwide?
