I used to think that my nipples were too small for nipple rings, but going through my piercing forum, now I see that they definitely aren't. Actually, they're just about the perfect size.
So, I've decided I want  either one or both of my nipples pierced. But I don't know if I want one or both done yet. I like the look of both decisions. Just depends on the person's breasts and whether they are large or small, and if they are both the same size, because only having one pierced would definitely make it noticeable if one breast was bigger than the other.

So, one or both?

If you have tattoos - sleeves, chest tats - then both looks REALLY stupid.  

Can you show a pic of both options?

EDIT: Sorry, I was only basing the "both with tattoos" comment on my friend's friend. I just found a pic and it looks fine.

I think I prefer barbell over rings, if you wanted input on that, too.

So as my final comment, I'm going to vote "both" (with barbells)
