i always seem to be having a problem with my parents over the system of do jobs equals money.

we have this talk everyday about how i never do any jobs and i still get money. by money i mean money for my lunch. at the moment i am looking for a job to solve this problem of the constant arguements.

one problem is though my step dad makes jokes that arent funny, as any father figure does.

but when he was handing me some coins to put into a coin jar, he said here's your pay....and as you guessed not funny.

this whole constant arguements and stuff is causing me such a headache...and i have a million things buzzing around my head at once....

please lw help....this is really degrading me into some unhappy person that i don't want to be....

and yes i know i have posted this....i am again because i have no other person to ask for advice.

He's obviously not going to stop until A: You start working more around the house and doing things to earn it or B: Get a job and not have to ask for their money again. That will show him if you ask me.

I know that emotionally it might be hard to have those degrading comments but if you are secure that you can't be helping anymore or doing things and you are capable to get a job then do it. It Will make you feel better and in the long run is a life lesson.

I wouldn't pay attention to him and once you get the job simply cut the communication as much as possible if you want to avoid the conflict or talk to your mom and suggest her to talk to him about it and see what he does.
