Sooo my friend and I went on our periodical hair dyeing night with each other. I was just going to dye it a more golden blonde than usual, but i got to thinking: i really would like a crazy color.

So she took her pink and yellow combo dye and put it in my hair, and it turned out really, really well. It's a very deep pink (not hot pink, not regular pink, but like close to a red/purple/pink mix.)

Fuck yes.

Only underneath my hair though. Despite my often rebellious tendencies, I didn't want to deal with my parents all too much.

I will try, but I honestly don't think I will be able to get a good angle because I dyed the bottom layers and it's hard for me to take pictures of that.

Honestly you can't go wrong with crazy colors.

You're going to look weird anyway, so you might as well have fun. But it's really an amazing feeling knowing you can walk around with the hair you like.

My friend has dyed her hair numerous times, and I really wish I could do that more often. She's done everything in the book.

The deal with my hair is weird. I was born blonde, have been blonde.. up until about a year ago. it started to change.

So I started dyeing it blonde (which I know is not the correct usage, but still. It isn't bleaching for me, it's just like.. a touch-up. My roots are just darker than the rest of my hair.)

Then we just added the pink/yellow combo.

As long as you use a kickass conditioner your hair is fine.

Well, it depends on your hair type, how often you dyed your hair and what you did to it--dying or bleaching. Roots aren't so bad to dye, but ends are the worst. Guess we're lucky enough that our hair doesn't get so easily damaged... I used to dye my hair alot, going from blonde to brunette and black and back to blonde and so on. But I guess that was like 5 years ago haha.
