McCain's nomination acceptance speech.

Shit was hilarious. We just happened to flip it on, and it was before the thing had actually started so we're just listening to the people coming out and talking about McCain. The whole thing was so depressing but so funny at the same time.

Not even talking about McCain's policies, the thing was just funny. It was this extremely blatant show. Some lady is standing up there talking about some random bitch that died in Iraq, and just talking and talking about this girl. Talking about how Obama doesn't want victory in Iraq for the sake of this poor poor dead bitch, but McCain does!

They never once said ANYTHING of substance. They literally just said vaguely good things. "McCain is strong, hes courageous, and hes a good leader! McCain wants victory in Iraq! McCain cares about our veterans!" Flash camera down to some veterans in the front row with no arms.

And OF COURSE there was the Obama speech equipped with it's own fucking dramatic music when he walks in. THEY WERE PLAYING DRAMATIC MUSIC!? How pretentious is that? And then the camera just keeps flashing to people crying and shit. Flashing to little children waving their American flags.

It's like a fucking show. They aren't even subtle about it. It's the only thing in America that shouldn't be a show, and it's one of the biggest shows of them all.

Which side are you arguing, so I'll make sure to join that side?

I was commenting on how they introduced him.  They brought up his military career.

Well, the way you 'phrased' it sounded a little bemused(?). He has every reason to be proud of his military career.
