Since the official release in the U.S. of the new Batman movie. A little bit before actually. I have been saying to people that say, "it sucks that we won't have the same Joker in the newer movies." that we actually can.

All of those people always, even after I explain myself. Think that I'm bashing heath ledger. I'm not saying he's a bad actor, and I've thought He was a good actor since A Knight Tale(first movie I saw him..or at least acknowledged him in). All that I've been saying is, that if you didn't know who the actors in the new batman film were/are you would have no fucking clue that it's heath ledger.

The main(most common) argument I've gotten on the matter is that Heath is professional actor. That the Joker in the older bat man films(I have seen them I just can't recite the film titles and the actors right now), was much different than this one. I agree on that matter since it's pretty obvious if you've seen those movies. Honestly if you've been watching movies recently you'll see that this villain is different.

What I'm saying is that. Yes heath is a good actor, and did a good job. However other actors can act, and sound the same way, or atleast somewhat the same. Of course not all actors. Though like people who get mad at me say, Heath is(was) a pro, and was very talented. Well there are other very talented actors who can act just like the Joker in the latest movie.

I haven't brought this up before, but there's the fact, that in super hero movies, they have a tendency to change up the villains in every movie. So that the watcher gets at least a taste of the comic strip it came from.

the thing is he did it so well, and obviously people are going to remember him for dying soon after, also the way he acted ect like the tongue thing would be very hard to replicate

I think someone else might be able to play the Joker, but the credit should mainly go to Ledger, its his creation.

However, I think if the Joker's in the next film, (and I dont think he will be, I think they will leave the Jokers shoes unfilled, as respect to Ledger, if you know what I mean by that), the character would be killed off.
