i think both are approached in different ways, and i would much rather be anorexic than obese, based purely on the way id be treated. fat people generally get looked at with disgust like they eat all the time, are really greedy, and all that stuff.
Anorexics are looked at more with sympathy, and people know that they have issues so are more careful around them.
also, both are actually very different and the underlying causes are normally very different.
persoinally, i find obesity more scary, cos nobody is doing anything about it!

Anorexia, its a disease and mental disorder. Generally obesity can be overcome easier.
