I had three goldfish in it; two comet goldfish, one other type of which I can't remember the name of...

So everything was fine, but I've recently noticed that one of the comet goldfish is getting dark brown/black spots on certain scales, and isn't as active as he used to be. My first thought was ich, and so it has been isolated now, but I really can't come to any other conclusion as to what it might be...

Any ideas/suggestions/treatments you can think of, LW?

Goldfish are bitchy little creatures. Common/comet goldfish actually are supposed to have 20 gallons of water per fish. They're actually meant for ponds. Fancy goldfish species can go off 10 gallons per fish.

They're bitchy though. They eat and poop and pollute. And then die.

I've had the tank a few months now...
