I'm saddened they never got that popular. There was a while where they were riding some sort of road to glory, getting grammys and shit and having a couple of hits.
Then they fizzled or something because I haven't heard much about them in several years now.
The above song is Onda, a song thats what? Like 8-10 minutes on the normal studio recorded track. Check this shit out though, he made it into a 26 minute jam. Thats fucking awesome, when you can turn an 8 minute song into a 26 minute jam you know you got some sort of talent. A righteous jam session at that. I got their live CD "At the Filmore" but damn. Even that rendition of "Onda" was only 13 minutes.
He can handle that sucker though. Like a more rocked out Santana IMO.

I saw them in concert a few years back and they kicked ass at Onda, that song went on FOREVER.

Honestly they are like the best modern bluesy band. And their all brothers! I don't know why, but that seems awesome. I mean the guitarist Henry Garza stands out the most to me, but it's cool that all three brothers picked up an instrument and do great at it.
But yes, just to reiterate, Garza pwns. He pwns Santana too. Santana is great, but Garza beats his idol pretty good IMO.
