In relation to that above topic, how could the universe possibly be destroyed?

According to scientists, the universe is constantly expanding endlessly, stretching on forever, for eternity.

Even if the experiment destroys the planet, how is it possible to destroy the Universe if it will only keep expanding?

It couldn't be. Even if we are to believe that a black hole could be created in such a way as to pose a threat to our planet/solar system etc. (which is absolutely not true) the universe would keep plodding along. Black holes are made every day. Protons collide with each other near the speed of light every second. Still we go on.

i think that statement assumes that no "unnatural" event occurs

So if an unnatural event like this occurs there is a possibility that the universe could be destroyed? How?
