I've liked this girl, a pretty good friend of mine, for a while. She doesn't know it. When I liked her, she had a boyfriend. He broke up with her a few months later, and I didn't make a move then because I didn't think she was ready to commit to a relationship so soon after one ended and that I knew she didn't like me (no girls like me.) Prom came by a few weeks later and she then went out with the guy she went to prom with. Ugh. I'm disappointed, though I'd rather die than disrupt her relationship or make her cheat or anything. Oh well, they're probably happy together anyway. And I'd probably make a terrible boyfriend anyway. I'm such a failure. I have failed enough. I give up on high school relationships.

Maybe it would be better to wait until after high school when girls will/should be more mature for a relationship and you will too.
