Well, who do you like more? Your bf or your best friend? Who treats you good? Who's there for you? Who does things for you? Yes, whatever you say to your friend that is rejecting in a nice way is going to hurt him.. I'd respect his feelings and be sensitive.. but at the same time you should look out and care for yourself as well so you don't get hurt either.
