Yes you can. Plug in your ipod and then go into the ipod management setting and look for an option called "Enable Disk Usage" or soemthing to that effect, and that will allow you to use it as a flash drive.

Don't misinform people. Yes you can use it as a device, you switch it to enable file storage on your ipod section on iTunes and you just plug it in via cable, my entire computing and art coursework last year was move back and for between home and school like that.

Do you have a GMail account? You can use that as a virtual drive. Or you can use http://www.4shared.com/ - You create an account and you get 5 gigs of space to store files and you can access them from any computer with internet. 
I doubt I can access that page at school, it's stupid like that. 
Well then go to your local Walmart/Target/Best Buy/etc and pick up a flash drive. They're really cheap now. 
I would, but I have like no extra money, lol.
