Have to agree with Jenny here. 12,000/yr is great for a teen. That's more spending cash than you should even worry about. It would enable you to purchase your first car, pay for insurance and gas. You'd still have enough to go out as well.

And yeah, 2K a month is not good for an adult. That's < 30000/yr and I hate to say it, but that's gotta be tough on your family.
