I agree with shaknbake, good and evil are intangible. This question is similar to asking if happiness would exist without sadness. They are emotions, subjected to human perception, that are functional in deciding courses of action and reaction, as good and evil are moral points of contrast which humans (and perhaps other animals) seem to use as the most fundamental behavioral criteria.

I was told that evil is a corruption of something good always.
I mean think of something evil in itself, is there anything that is evil in the absence of any prior good?
But good can exist apart from evil, it's easy to imagine something good without any evil being involved although the image one might conjure up may seem weird and fake.

Imagine a world where only evil exists. Think of it as an anarchist world where the fittest take what they want.

That would be the modern geopolitical scene.

What would an anarchist possible want in a world absent good?

A person cannot be "good" if they have no evil. Without evil, someone is just ...

Anyway, yeah, "evil" is a privative. It is not a thing. It is simply lack of goodness.
"Good" isn't the privative because it is the natural order, or state if you will.
