Ive been having weird symptoms that are like a panic attack..

these symptoms include:
a feeling of a lump in my throat
tons of mucus
coughing
increased heartbeat
headaches
chest pain

now i have had panic attacks before and ive had this off and on since my dad died two years ago but now its almost constant.... and so i looked on the internet at symptoms of this (website here) http://www.steadyhealth.com/lump_in_throat_and_chest_headaches_dizziness_t74118.html

ive told my bf and told my mom once too and neither seem too worried about it...

im going to the doctor next week to get more birth control so im going to ask him about this then...

and i doubt its a heart attack or anything heart related since im 17 stopped drinking energy drinks since about a year and i eat decently healthy.

anybody else ever have this? or know what it is?

also: i had a checkup about a year ago and they took my blood and everything was completely fine... he said i was extremely healthy so i really dont think it could be a disease or anything like that... (i did at first)

I get panic attacks they suck ass. But I have agoraphobia (fear of leaving the house) and really bad anxiety.

Most of the time people get panic attacks when they have some kind of problem like myself, or they are upset, scared, nerves, excited.

Yes it does. Many people get it in different ways. But I get the hole lump in the throat thing, increased heartbeat, headaches and chest pain.

Like sometimes my heart will speed up and feel like its going really fast and i get really light headed and it causes my breathing to go off track, and then all of a sudden it will just feel like my heart stoped and you get a HUGE headache.

But yes, its probley a panic attack. Sometimes i get sick from panic attacks.

Its good your seeing a doctor soon though!

Those symptoms do sound like you might be having panic attacks. I suffered from those for a while. It wouldn't hurt to talk to your doctor, just to rule out anything else. I hated panic attacks, I felt out of control. I really thought something was physically wrong with me. I would feel like I couldn't swallow, my heart would race, and I would feel extremely dizzy. If your symptoms come randomly and eventually stop, it probably is anxiety. Next time it happens, just take deep breaths and relax. If you get nervous, your body will tense up, making the symptoms far worse. Keep in mind that nobody has ever died from a panic attack.

This is very true. This is kinda what im trying to tell you in the emails we have been sending back and forth. Most panic attacks are caused because of anxiety problems.

& i have anxiety problems and agoraphobia (fear of leaving the house)
