I have been with my boyfriend for one year and three months. He does not drink, he does not smoke, he does not party, etc. Neither do I. I am a senior in high school, and my grades are good. He is a sophomore in college, and his grades are good. We are not the type of people this kind of thing happens to, trust me. Him and I both come from good families. However, over here in our state, he has his mother, his brother, his sister in law, and a handful of cousins and second cousins. Me, on the other hand, I only have my mother. The rest of my family and his live really far away. He's an amazing boyfriend, and I am 1000% positive that he would not abandon me during this. I live at home with my mother, and he lives at home with his. He works full time, and I work full time. I am assistant manager, so my income isn't (too) low. He makes decent money too. Okay, so now for the big "shocker" - I am pregnant. I just found out today. I haven't told him yet, but we've talked about it before. If I were to keep the baby, him and I would live together. Either at my house, or his. We both have extra bedrooms. Living in our own apartment would be too expensive as well as too hard, since we would BOTH stay at school and keep our jobs. His mother works until 630 every weekday - she makes good money. And my mother works for herself, so she makes her own hours, so I am pretty sure my mother would be willing to help us out too. I am really scared, because I would hate to be another teen statistic. I just don't know what to do. - How can I tell my boyfriend?
- How should I tell my mother? And his mother?
- Who should I tell first?
- Any thing else I should know? Another thing, please don't tell me I am stupid. I already know this. I feel terrible, believe me. I did not WANT for this to happen. I am on birth control, and as we all know, it is not 100%. Accidents happen. I need advice, not harsh words. Thanks..

Your 17 maybe you should consider adoption. I think you should really sit down with both your family and boyfriend and talk about this. Its a lot for a 17 year-old to handle.

call him and tell him to meet you somewhere because you have to tell him something OR just tell him to meet you somewhere and just say it. it will be hard but theres no easy way of telling him. after that then discuss with him how to tell you guys's mothers. id say you guys should tell your mom first and then right after go tell his mom.
