alright so I've been in a few relationships ... but none recently (about 3 years ago) however I ALWAYS flirt with girls ... I just dont necessarily want to have any part to do with some of them besides talking to them a little. However theres this one chick that I'm beginning to like a lot and am thinking is dating material BUT theres only one problem. In my last few relationships its been set up by friends and I never asked the person to "go out" with me. So I was wondering how I should get the point across that I like her and want to date/bf & gf/go out.

Now I'm suppose to be driving her home from a football game this friday and I think that would be the perfect time to talk about it. I'm not nervous or anything about asking .... I just dont want to make it sound really dumb.

When driving her home, start talking to her. Talk about favorite things to get find common interests. Get to know her some in the car and at the game. Then when you get to her stop just be like "I enjoyed talking to you. Maybe when can talk again over (dinner, coffee, etc. whatever you pick). Good luck.

but how do you actually ask a person to be boyfriend/girlfriend ... or is that just something you talk over sometime?
I've already went out with this chick a couple times (mall, movies, and ice cream shack)

Be like. "I really like how we've been going out lately. Do you want to make it official? Do you wanna be my girlfriend?" Good luck.
