If you ever want to know anything about the affairs of the moderation staff and the current issues that we face, feel free to throw me a PM and I'll give you as much detail as I can (which, depending on the situation, could very well be nothing). This goes for anyone concerned with this sort of business. I highly value clarity and communication between LW's staff and LW's populace. I think, if I had it my way, I would want the moderator's forum to be viewable publicly (save for discussions on particular members, for obvious reasons). It's too bad that most of the mods wouldn't feel comfortable with this.
Seconded. I'm always open to talking to members. I'll say as much as possible about a situation. And I was also all for making the mod forum stuff public when possible. Just as long as we still respect the fact that members have a right to privacy when we're discussing specific cases of misconduct. But why not with policy discussions?
