Because abortion/pregnancy is one of the most personal issues a woman will ever have to deal with.

I personally would never get an abortion because of my respect for life.

But making abortion illegal isn't going to solve anything. It's going to not only kill the baby but also harm or possibly kill the mother. Face it, women are not going to stop getting abortions because it's illegal.

reasons such as her not being able to support her child, her child having a horrible life

This. I think abortion is ok under certain circumstances. If the birth will cause harm to the mother or child, or if the woman was raped, then I think its fine. It should not be a way out from a mistake.

Killing, stealing, and raping infringes on the rights of other born human beings. Abortion does not.

Wrong.

Why don't you actually reasearch when abortions were illegal. Notice adoptions increased AFTER it was legalized... and the number of women who died during an abortion dropped significantly as well.
